i have a poker table going at my forum, where we play for fun with virtual chips. it really is a blast, however keeping track of the virtual chips requires constant updates to an excel spreadsheet that i've got going.

the forum that has the poker table requires a $5 subscription fee. so far, we've got about 10 players.

so here's my request.
a virtual bankroll.

within the admin cp, i can give xx amount of virtual chips. then, within the postbit, there would be a link or button that only those in the poker usergroup can see, and they can type in how much they would like to bet. the money is in a holding status until the end of the game, at which point the winner gets the pot and the rest have whatever they have bet taken out of their accounts.

no, if someone wanted to be real fancy, they could design it in such a way that when people bet in a specific thread, the money they bet in that thread remains in that pot... that way, i could have multiple games running at the same time.

thanks.

actually, it's all based within the forum. i post that a game will be played and accept sign ups. from there, if there are hole cards that need to be dealt, they are sent to the players via pm's. any face cards are posted within the game thread. i keep track of everyone's bankrolls in an excel spreadsheet. players place their bets within the game thread. i scanned in some decks of cards and it actually looks very cool.
