Images as Posts in Post bit

Is there a way to have images show according to how many posts a user has? Like if I use an army structure as Forum Ranks, is there a way to show when a user makes enough posts to be listed as PFC, a PFC rank insignia will show next to his post count?

the rank system doesn't allow images. i want to display images as ranks.

have you tried putting <img src="link/to/image.ext"> in the rank thingier?
