Related Items

I had a search for a mod that allows the admin/mod to add a box to the top fo a thread, with related items/news there.

An example of this can be found here : At the Top, table called "Related Items" (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?p=141542)

Has this been released? or is there an easy way to do this? This would be a very useful function.
