Can I post this, if so where?

Basically, after a rather long delay, I've launched Forum Zilla - the forum only search engine. The idea is that users can type in a topic that interests them (like 'cars) and the site will return them a list of direct links to relevant forums. All forums are hand checked before being listed.

I was hoping to post the link and ask users to submit their forums to my site, but I wasn't sure if a) this is allowed and b) which forum can I do it in? The forum reviewing one would be relevant, or not?

Selfpromotion of your site is not allowed.

The only way is if your site has a special design to post the link into forum commenting, to get comments, and then maybe someone also submits his forum.

Did you visit the site? It's non-commercial and basically benefits forum webmasters by sending them new users... any tips on getting some exposure would be great.
