hey.. i am rarly new to the hack thing, and i have installed hacks on my VB, my question is.. when people create hacks for the verions Gold.. does that mean it won't work for RC4?

is there a possiblity it may work.. (sorry i am new so please don't bite my head off)

between RC4 and Gold aren't that much differences so the hack will work 99% sure.

just if a hack is touching a changed code, it would need a slight modification sometimes..

They probbably will work. I haven't tested it, but my shoutbox hack (created on Beta 4, then updated on Gamma, RC2, and RC3) will probably work on vB3 Gamma and above, and I bet some of my smaller hacks will work on vB3 Beta 3 and above (although no one should be running that old of a version ;)) Most of the time, when a hack is made on a certain version, it will also work on some of the past and future versions.

vB2 hacks do not work with vB3.

There isn't one released, so naturally no one can tell you what versions it'll work with except the author of it.
