View Full Version : Users can edit OWN thread title

Often my members post images of developing projects that exist on pages further down in a thread. Like on page 8 of a 9 page thread.
Moderators and Admins can easily edit the thread title to add [images on page 8] to the thread title.
I simply would like to be able to allow the THREAD ORGINATOR (reguardless of group) to be able to edit his/her thread title. Is this possible? If so, how?
Thanks in advance

Its already an option, in the vBoptions page I think, when they edit there first posts title it updates the threads title just like it does here.

I found the option, it's set to 0....and yet a registered user cannot edit a thread title. Any other ideas guys? I really appreciate it.

change it to something different than 0

won't that just make a time limit on editing the thread title?

resurrecting this thread as this is a feature I really need. Allowing usergroups to edit their own threads (on a forum by forum basis) would be incredibly useful.
Specifically, I have a marketplace forum on my site and I would like the thread starter to be able to edit the thread title to include "..... - SOLD" once their items have sold.
I'd be willing to pay for this feature.

Why not use prefixes?
