No, it's no illusion!
The HOTM is back.
This is our first HOTM after the great break.
We've written an automatic script, which nominates the Modifications.
You just have to vote ;)
The contest goes from 15. February until 15. March, then the next one will start.
We may change some things, maybe if we find some problems, but for now, enjoy voting :)
Which Modification should win this contest this month?
It's you, who decides!!!

Who nominated these hacks by the way? Just curious :p
KuraFire

I think they were automatically nominated simply by their amount of installs...
ooh, HTL currently in the lead. Hmm, that probably won't last... :|

Btw: Is there any way to find out how often a certain hack has been "installed" (eg. how many ppl clicked install)?

Yep, it says it in the same cell that the topic title is in (at the top right).

Everybody, there's no need to cheer on a hack or say what you voted for. You can say why but anything else is really just cluttering the thread.

vBadvanced gets my vote...because it's made my homepage everything I needed and for it's seamless intergration, keeping updated and for the wonderful support.
This certainly doesn't mean I don't think the others are wonderful too!
This was a hard one to vote on!

The list just includes Modifications within the Full Releases Subforums.
Within these forums every hack should be fully working.....
If we've missed a thread, which actually belongs to the Beta Releases, please just report it, so a mod will move (actually that won't affect that poll anymore)

HTL deserves it.... it is one of the best hacks out there for vBulletin 3.0.0 right now and makes some of our lives easier already between upgrades of RC's

It keeps the thread up into the New Posts though, which helps in making more people be aware of the fact that it's actually BACK now, and thus ensures that more people vote, on the whole. :p

It has its own forum. It's not likely to be dropping in the thread list anytime soon.
vBindex, definately. A forum is great, but a good portal to the forum is what really makes the site.

vbAdvanced is GREAT! I love it's ease of use, plus adding additional pages is a cinch! Thanks!
Arcade, simply because I'm a gamer and I have to vote for it :) Oh yeah, really good hack too. ;)

The more intresting thing is now, who will be number 2 ^^.
or if the Arcade gets more than all other Mods together :)

Well, if we look at the number of installs things would be clear on the side of vBIndex. But let's see..

So, what's better VBindex or VBAdvanced? Just curious since I'm looking for a Portal.

Depends on what sort of thing you're looking for, they're both very nice. I personally like the features vBadvanced offers more, so that's what I use. [ also what I voted for ].
I'd agree, I'm a big vBAdvanced fan - well coded and put together.

VbAdvanced hompage is very smooth and nicely done. Good job, Tigga.
HTL has been indeed useful for me as well, I'm enjoying it everytime I install hacks. good job, KF.

Congratulations John - trully deserved :)!
Thanks. :)
You should really cut a deal with Jelsoft to give away free vB licenses to HotM winners. Would make the hacking scene thrive...! ;)

But then they would be losing 12 licenses a year and it would get out of hand (vb.com has board of the month :p) nice idea though :)

The quality of the hacks being produced would hit the roof though... as well as the quantity. Well, thought it was worth a mention. :)
On an unrelated <cough> note, if anyone has a spare vb license they know where to find me! ;)
