i just installed coppermine gallery w the vb3 bridge and it works great. the problem? It looks in no way like my Vb.
i, as well as many other people im sure, would love a hack that incorporated your vb header/footer/navbar etc into the coppermine pages.
any chance of this happening?

I changed up my gallery to look exactly like my vb board (on the skin you're using now)
BUT, you can try this css bridge code from here:

thread is here:

Did they fix the bridge? I can't get it to work with sub-domains to save my life..

What sort of errors? It's certainly possible the directions for making the modifications need to be cleaned up a bit.

Which version of the bridge file are you using? Does it work ok w/o any mods to it? Which db are you getting the error on?

One thing to consider is that the change for adding in the CSS, by itself, does not change the look of the site. The templates need to be modified for that to happen. So far I haven't done that nor has anybody else as far as I know. The quickest way to deal with it, if you will be using a fixed style, is to change the CSS for the coppermine theme you are using. Doing it that way can get you pretty close in very short order. Using the vb CSS is only needed if you would be offering multiple styles.
I have mine set up to look pretty close to the vb3 default style if you want to take a look at it.

yeah i figured that much, but the css add-in doesnt work at all for me. as soon as i do that, the gallery just shows that error. nothing else.

Here's my modified bridge. You should just be able to add you VB database stuff into and it should run OK.

Somebody is going to need to bite the bullet and create a set of vb templates (or modify the existing default templates) in coppermine that use the vb classes instead of the coppermine classes. I started to do this at one point but haven't had a chance to get back to it.

That would be great mate, I've taken a look on your site and it looked quite nice.
Could you perhaps send me the CSS file ?

I've been testing coppermine on my testvb board on the same domain and I kept getting cookie errors although I was logged out of my other board, used .mydomain.com and while a index portal worked with a problem, I couldn't get Coppermine to detect that I was already logged in until using tgmorris's file, thanks! They should replace their version with this one, whatever the differences may be.

I had the same problem when using some path at "Path to Save Cookies" instead of / with their original bridge.
