I would say forums unless your site is really small and only has 1 forum. ;)

Forums, it sounds better considering it's a group of forums instead of one.

IMO, i go for forum cuz forums is plural like message boards. you only have one board.

forum is better, shorter ...
I use "forum", but that's just because so many others use "forums" that I wanted to keep myself straight. :D
