Today I had inspiration.

I followed a link to HiveMail. I thought, That would be perfect for my community. I wanted to give out free email accounts to my registered forum members. Well, Sadly I cannot afford Hive Mail.

What I would like to see is a Web based Email Hack that is along the lines of, lets say hotmail or AOL.

Any Ideas. Any Takers?

Wow that's a pretty big request you have here, I bet most would suggest saving up and purchasing HiveMail; I'm sure there won't be too many who will want to create this for free, or at least have a good product for free. Unless there was a team who wanted to make this, though, of course :D

SO.................... :nervous:

Any teams out there brave enough to take this challenge. It would be the biggest and most useful hack VB has ever seen (for the people who have the server capabilities to run it).

Someone wants ta. I know they do. Please.

Ah ok,

I have looked over that and it looks verry promising (when it is complete). And maybe I just have this all wrong.

But what I want to have done is to opptionally allow VB3 to create a "meberX" @ mysite.com with a customisable bandwidth. And of course, "MemberX" will also be registered with the community and would have to verify both both the email account and mail account.

If nooone thinks it can be done this way, will hive mail cover all these functions?

I can't see anyone taking that big a job for free, the best bet is to go with HiveMail.
