Seems like a mod deleted my sidebar modiciation after I released v2.0 without any warning. I click the link to it from a profile search and it sends me to an access error page. I would like to know who did this, and why I was not informed.

It was deleted because it didn't contain any instructions.

dprice, this is not the proper forum to ask for help.

So I've gotta wait for HTL1.1 to come out, and then that post will be restored n stuff?

You can create a txt/html installation instruction for your mod and post it to your thread and thread will be back. We were releasing hacks before HTL and we will be releasing them after it. Hack releasing in vb.org does not require any other hacks to use so you dont have to wait for anything.

*groan*The HTL is just a way to ensure the quality of the work done to vBulletin.
It is not mandatory, everybody is free in their choice, giving the source code modification makers the choice to release it in the form they want, is also their choice.

Version 1.1 will include a .txt making feature for those who choose not to install the HTL to make things easier to install, upgrade and keep track on.

I suggest the vbORG staff to update their posting rules to include what is required to post 'at least' (like the .txt file) - if these don't include these requirements already.
If not, then I dont'see a reason why threads are removed.
Power to the ppl!

This issue is already cleared and decided by site admins and most of the complainers in this thread are well aware of it:

We really don't need to flame it in every other threads.
