Is there any plans to release a CMS for vBulletin, I know there are a few hacks out there and in here, but does anyone know if vBulletin intend to make one? They could sell it as an extra, or in a combo etc. I like what people have done, just think that the team that made the forum could make a full function CMS, just a thought. I'm currently on the look out at the moment for a CMS to replace phpnuke, I am designing a site for a gaming network that my organisation has recently partnered with. Whaddaya reakon?

Jelsoft has announced the vB CMS for months already, and said that they would start serious development on that once vB3 goes Gold.

so, yes they ARE making one. We've known for a while already :)

no.. that is not what he is looking for.. that is NOT the jelsoft based CMS.. that is a portal/cms done by wajones.. has nothing to do with jelsoft and in fact says so on it's front page.. unless something has changed..

Well, vBulletin is a CMS at heart, but the Jelsoft CMS should be promising.

What are your plans for the future in regards to vBulletin? And how will it develop after the initial release? Do you plan on developing new features or branching out into a new product area?

I can't give away any specific details, but our future plans include several new products, all of which will tie into vBulletin using the extremely flexible base code developed for vBulletin 3. Among the first of these products to be released will be the as-yet-unnamed Content Management System. Apart from that, I'm afraid you'll just have to wait and see!

As from this (http://www.sitepoint.com/article/interview-kier-darby-vbulletin) article.
