&action=newthread urls

I use an outside of vBull source for news, and would like to be able to link for comments to vBull. If a thread has not been created then create one with subject, and if one has been created already, add a comment.

I was able to get this done in vBull2 with "newthread.php?s=&action=newthread&forumid=8&subject=blah", it semi works, but it's not auto filling in the subject field.

Any thoughts?

make sure that the subject field value is set at $subject.

not sure but i think that will do the trick.

...is anyone able to create a new thread with subject field via a linked URL? This would be a nice feature to have for dail news postings, so Only threads are created for a posting when someone wants to comment on it.

Crazy to use another commenting system, and no.. :) I will not use the vBull dB to run my news.
