Special avatar borders?

Hi,

I was wondering if there's a way to make avatar borders different to the ordinary simple outline? At the moment, I'm simply using table border colour as an outline. Is there a way to make the avatar borders much more unique? Such as having two colours, which fade into eachother, possibly...

Let me know if anything like that is possible!

Just create an image that has the border colors you'd like to use and set that as the background image for the table you've been placing around your avatars. Give the table a 1 or 2 pixel cellpadding value and the edges of your colored image will show around your avatar. This is just a template mod away. No hacking required.
