Everyone,
Ever since I registered here at vbulletin.org (ok, so it hasnt been all that long ago, but....), I have been trying to determine if such a hack exists.
What I would truly would like is a simple web based php editor where I could load a php file, make a change or two, and then save it, all within the comfort of my admincp.
Im not looking for a million "kick ass" features or anything..just a real simple feature specific to supporting one goal in life:quick modifications, quick saves, no hassles.
If this seems to be too easy of a hack for some of you, ill throw in one feature suggestion:
When the admin wishes to "save changes" to the modified document, I would like to see a simple backup system that just makes a copy of the document that was loaded for modifications, and saved as a <filename>.php.backup file in a predefined folder (perhaps an additional configuration setting specific to this hack) - just in case the modifications being made fubar things. If this document needs to be restored to the previous state, the <filename>.php.backup file (if exists) will be retrieved and <filename>.php would be restored from the contents of the .backup file.
If theres already something simple like this, please by all means show me the way, else consiter this my first requests to any and all you coders out there :D
Thanks in advance!
