here is what I used:

you must be registered and proven as a licensed vbulletin user before you can download attachments (same system as here), however the code from Fireflys thread was updated in the instructions for users with newer versions.

Install instructions include the additional items, such as attachments, clickable smilies, login/logout, post subject, etc etc etc.

It worked well for me - and ive only been a "hacker" for a few weeks now.
