Is there a hack yet for restricting the amount of signature that is displayed? I have the limit on characters set, but I would like a way to restrict the amount of lines that get used - some people will link to large images, or put a whole lot of line breaks in, so their signatures dont have that many characters, but span like 15 lines of text... I want a way to restrict it..
bumping this up because I'm looking for the same thing. :)

Same here, time to bump :D. This would be very nice to stop users from abusing their signiture space.
I'd love this. Perhaps an iframe, so if the signature is long, the user can scroll to see it all.

I fonunded one solution compatible with all browsers.
max-height for mozilla, an emulation of max-height for IE and Opera.

Have fun! :)
I'm not able to see the link given in the previous post, can someone tell me why?

it has been deleted/removed/archived ...
Are you aware that this is an old thread?
restricting size, text, etc in signatures can be done via vbulletin by default now
I'm not able to stop width or height of images in sigs. How can i do this?
Yes i was aware it was an old thread but only one relevant to what i was wanting!

It's in the usergroup settings, if you are running 3.6.X version of vbulletin, in the signature options.
