Making use of one Forum as a news forum!!

If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it. I am having my site completely re-written from scratch.... I was wondering if there was some type of script that would intergrate the news onto the front page of another non-vb home page like index.php or a non-php page like index.html... I dont want to use a content management system,

you can use the RSS / JS feeds or use a strip away stuff from vBindex or vBadvanced

just use what you need, if you just want to display some news, take away the other tempaltes and just show the news feed

then id suggest taking a look at vBindex or vBadvanced for how they querry the news and display it :)
