Looks way too much like http://www.sitepointforums.com :(

I disagree with all of what youve said
the colors arnt that much alike, neither is the design.
all the forums that are there are rather active, too many forums means too many empty forums :)

Funny how i took "color spy" and compared the two colors, the exact color is the same for both.

I agree that the style is similar to SitePoint. (Perhaps the header, but not the forums themselves at all.) However, there are also many other sites on the 'net with the same style. The color combination is actually very popular. In fact, I actually originally picked out the light blue / dark blue / grey colors from http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/ in addition to http://www.overture.com and the Overture blue/lighter blue logo. Later I chose the orange after seeing it against blue at http://www.coolhomepages.com - it's also at http://www.ipodlounge.com in addition to quite a few other sites where it's against the same shade of blue.
As for the large number of forums. I agree there are a lot. However, they're all pretty populated with the exception of our ColdFusion forum. It's not like we have 40 forums with 10 posts dispersed among them. Rather, we're a growing community with almost 3,000 members. Check out http://www.dbforums.com and look at how many they have!
However, I definitely thank you for your feedback. I'm always tinkering and toying with one style element or another. (It was torturous murder not being able to alter the style during the month of voting for vB board of the month - but well worth it in the end!) Therfore, I'm completely open to construtive criticism.

All the sites uses the same colors I guess ;) It's not just me 'n' SitePoint.
I know sites use blue and orange, but i don't think it's a coincidence that you have the same colors (#FF6600, #003366, etc) I'm not going to argue with you, just my opinion.
I'll leave you alone now.

The thing is, you're saying it's coincidental me and SitePoint have the same hex codes for our colors. But me and phpBBHacks have the same hex codes. Me and CoolHomepages have the same hex codes. Maybe SitePoint copied one of them ;)
