I am currently running a vB board but due to some strange bug that no-one can fix, my users keep getting logged out. We have tried to repair this by deleting their cookies but it still happens!
As a result I am considering purchasing a new board but have a few questions.
1. Does running it in frames make a difference to it's functioning
2. Which version do I get if I buy now?
3. Can I use the existing information I have in my mySQL database for the members of my site (site, not forum) to automatically have membership of the new board. i.e members of www.fantasytennis.net who have not signed up for the forum will be logged in and ready to post when they sign-in to our site in the normal way?
4. If this is possible, is it hard? Will someone do this for me (vB team with price of installation? one of you guys?)
Thanks,
CJ

GirlsAloud,
You are currently showing up as unlicensed. As you are already running a vB Board, we ask you to please click here (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/forums.php) (vB-germany users click here (http://www.vbulletin-germany.com/members/forums.php)) and enter your email address, to show us that you are licensed.
You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive.
Thank you.

Make sure its the exact same address as you use here, its case sensitive, if you have done that also try entering it in all three boxes.

:)
to answer the questions:
1. Not that i know of
2. The most aktual vb2 version and the most recent vb3 version
3. Not with basic vBulletin, you need to write a script to add the entries vb conform into the DB
4. not that hard, you can post a service request in our forum :)

Oh and i think you have to make sure its an up too date license aswell (You said you had some in the past)
Questions ==
1) I dont think it will work too great in frames (cookies wise) I could be wrong though as i have never tried it.
2)The current STABLE version is 2.3.4 if i remember correctly. But you can also download vB3 RC2 which is the board you are seeing on this site :)
3) Dont believe so
4) Could pay someone who may be able to figure it out.
