What are all the steps to convert a vB3 forum from its default static layout to the traditional liquid layout?
Yes, I've followed the steps in the announcement at vB.com. I think there are more.

Gathering from filburts posts i think its annoying him more than anything :)
Does this mean we can get the old vB style for vB3 with the java menus etc still?

Yes, it's annoying because some pages like showthread have a completely screwed-up layout. Look at this screenshot (client's name hidden for now). No matter what resolution the browser or screen is using, the width is always the same.
