I need help with something and seen this on other forums....
how do you get some of the text to be bold and a different color on the forum home were the descriptions are under the forum, see pic below
i want have in red and bold but cant figure out how to do this

did you try using html for the description?

did you try using html for the description?i use [font color="red"][b] and then the ending tags
but it just show up as text

That's not HTML, that's vBcode. Instead, use:
<FONT SIZE="1" FACE="verdana, arial, helvetica" COLOR="#FF0000"><STRONG>

i use [font color="red"][b] and then the ending tags
but it just show up as texti said HTML to begin with
also
<font size="1" face="verdana, arial, helvetica" color="#FF0000"><strong>Text</strong></font>
you should pratice using XHTML standards :)

Capital letters arn't allowed in tag or attribute names :)
Also <font> was deprecated in HTML 4.01 and you should really use styles instead.
