I am looking for this hack since a while.
If anyone already worked on this subject, or ready to work on it, please reply.
I can also do it by myself but someone will have to guide my steps.
Any helps appreciated, thanks a lot.

i'd love to have upcoming calendar events on non vB pages, i've tried to get it to work, however the $upcomingevent only showed 12-1-1969 or somethign so the queries didn't work

Please help me if you can by donating this.
EDIT: This should be suitable for your cause
<?php
// Calendar Marquee
// Require global.php
chdir ('vb3/');
require ("global.php");
$events = $DB_site->query("select * from event order by dateline DESC limit 5");
if ($DB_site->num_rows($events))
{
print "<marquee>";
while ($ev = $DB_site->fetch_array($events))
{
$news="";
$new_date = vbdate('l F d, Y', $ev['dateline'], false, false);
$news .= "<B>".$new_date."
";
$news .= $ev['title']."<BR>";
echo $news;
}
print "</marquee>";
}
?>

would it be possible to have this scroll from bottom to top, and only display the current events for THAT day only?
