My main page loads mega slow or not at all!!! WTF!

I dont know what the deal is, but I'm using myVbindex for my home page and it either never loads or takes almost 2 minutes to come up. Anyone know what the problem might be? PLEASE HELP!

you are far behind on updates for one thing were now on 2.3.4 and your still using 2.2.9 id suggest upgrading :) for starters or moving to vb3 ;D

The slowness is only on the main page, http://www.extreme-athlete.com . The forums load just fine. :ermm:

As for updating versions, I'm scared that a good chunk of my hacks will not be compatible with the 2.3.x versions, also, I don't like Vb3 very much, the layout is just not very pleasing to me.
