Cheers for your time

I am pretty sure teck would not allow this, there are at least 2 vbhome like scripts out for vb3 right now that are free, look in the releases forums.

Our team has done a portal system like the one you're searching for.

For the moment we have done a quite stable version released in the french community but we want to make it really good enough to post it here.

I think that it'll be up in 2-3 weeks

P.S: that's not an adaptation of vbhome even if it's called vbdhome(vbd prefix for vbulletin dev). We coded everything from the ground and it has good features like: guestbook, link mod, possibility to add html content's page, and lots more !!

No URL ;)

But some SC ;) Of course it's on my local machine, with a standard VB3 (colors, templates...)
THe portal isn't finished, we'd like to add some new features (gallery photo, downloads management system) but we have already do :
- HTML pages
- guestbook
- Links database
- glossary (users (if admin is agree) and admin can add definitions to a database)
- you can choose the position of blocs on the portal ...

Should be a good alternative to the 2 existing portals for vb3 :)

You can change the name of each block, its position, to display it or no ...

Screenshots are in french but when we'll release it on vb.org, it will be in english ;)

Looks good :) ...wish i could understand french though LOL

May i suggest including the following:

- Reviews Section like http://www.reviewpost.com
- Gallery section like http://www.photopost.com
- Tutorials section that will allow members to author their own tutorials that await admin approval before being published

- Ability to show some gallery images on the home page
- Links page
- Free template pages for further custom content
- Chat section
- Newsletter subscription
- Banner advertising control http://phpadsnew.com/two/
- Really tight integration with vBulletins admincp

If you could do all that, you would become rich men....and id be happy to purchase it :D

Cheers mate, hear from you soon

- Don't understand well what "reviews" mean ... ;) but I have to do this this afternoon ;)
- For the photogallery, we'd like to do this but there is a lot of work ;)
- Tutorials section will be possible via the glossary or the downloads database ;)
- Links page : already done ;)
- Chat section : hurmmm ... I don't think we'll do this, there is already a lot of Shoutbox (and our Pos3idon should release its own soon) that we could integrate to the portal
- Newsletter : good idea :)
- Banner advertising : already done ;)
- Integration with admincp : Of course :) It's what we done, this portal is only for VB3 and so, we coded it according to the rest of Vbulletin's code ;)

I'm making large Hack Systems for all those three, some are already very eagerly anticipated (mostly by people who know the quality of my vB3-work :)). You may want to keep an eye out for those..

It'll still be a while as I've got to finish first:

- Hack Tracking Log (see sig);
- Modules Manager;
- Journal System for vB3

after that come the Reviews, Tutorials and Gallery systems (all of which are shaping up to be -quite- awesome, by the way, with some very unique and revolutionary features!). So it'll still be quite a while.

For more info, search vb.org for:
reviews
tutorials
gallery
