Hi and thanks for at least reading my post :)

I have to admit that I am somewhat of a newbie you might say :o

I have RC2 installed and I would love to try out several modifications that have been posted here. I get the impression that most people are waiting until the Gold version is released.

Would this be because of all the file changes? eg: gamma to rc2 then rc2 = all files had to be changed or updated.

Until a stable release, I assume that this will continue to be the case with file updates, in which case, would I also be correct in saying that all modifications would have to be redone?

Most people are waiting for Gold since I believe it contains the final images for vB3.
And yes, when you upgrade the files are replaced with new ones and all file modifications are replaced.

(Also, RC1+ are stable releases)

There shouldn't be many code changes bettween RC2 and final, it really depends on how many more bugs are found. I myself have 40-50 hacks I've written on my main forum and have done since I started with Beta 3.

Most modifications won't need to be re-done, however they may need to be tweeked for future versions of vB3.
