Does anyone know the javascript code to disable the View->Source from working? They use it on this very site on most of the pages.

Yeah, I know it's not going to stop anyone. I know you can disable scripts. I know there are other workarounds. I don't need lectures on how it's a waste of time. I just want to know how they disable it here and on other sites.

no they dont, its an ie / vb problem combined, you can disable right clicking but there are other ways of viewing the source

so yes it s a waste of time, so why bother?

Did you read my post? I know there are other ways of viewing the source. I just want to know how they disabled the view source option here on IE. I know how to disable the right mouse click. That's NOT what I'm asking here.

If you don't know how they did it (and you obviously don't) then "don't bother" replying.

you mean this source?

all you need to do is a hard refresh, there not purpulsing disabling it, its a bug with IE and certain pages

Now point out which part of the code disables the view->source on ie. I've already gone through the source on this page and I can't find the code that disables the view source. Can you? Obviously not...

If it's a bug, why don't I see this same thing on my site or other vBulletin sites? Maybe they are exploiting a bug, but I'd like to know how.

Maybe I need to be more specific. Which part of the code causes this "BUG" you talk about?

its just a cache problem with IE6 :)

Once again, you didn't answer my question. Let me repeat:
"Which part of the code causes this "BUG" you talk about?"

I never see this "cache problem" on my site or other vBulletin sites. There is obviously something specific that causes this problem, and it's getting obvious you don't have a clue what it is.

i get it on my VB3 site and on alot of vB3 sites with IE, however im not sure what causes it to happen but im positive it is a cache issue with IE as with Mozilla/Firebird ive never had that kinda problem
