* ReinMasamuri pokes Logician
I know Logi is going to do this but I thought I'd give him a poke ^_^

a vbulletin integrated content management system. Term "Webtemplates" stands for dynamic webpages that reside in your MYSQL database and administered inside your vbulletin admin control panel. But they are more than regular site pages because they can automatically inherit visual design of your forum, can apply permissions according to your vb usergroup settings, can keep track of page counts, last visitorname/visit time, display page browsers in the page itself and in your whoisonline page etc. So basically webtemplates are dynamic web pages of your site which are powered by vbulletin.

I would love to see this as well. I am holding off on my next site until this is released.

:)

Edit: I didn't mean for that last comment to sound like a demand. :\ I meant for it to sound flattering.

I am working on something like this, it will allow you to store content in pages sorted by topic. It will also have some extra stuff built in so you can run .php files through the scripts so you dont have to hack (think modules). Anyway it'll be out soon :)

I am not trying to be unpatient or pushy or anything.

But, I was just wondering if there was any word on this? Is it eventually going to be converted...or should I look at other options?

I don't care how long it takes till it is converted....I just want to know if eventually it will be converted.

Thanks!

Logician said he was going to convert it, however, probably not for awhile because he doesn't want to switch to vb3 yet. ;) check in his original vb2 version thread

Exactly.

Sorry guys I don't want to let you down but I'm still sticking with VB2 until I decide a vb3 version is stable. And releasing of GOLD version is not enough for me to decide this either.

The other problem is that I have too many hacks to convert so this will take some time. But I will convert them all, especially webtemplates would be definetely get converted because I use it much and I need it.. :)

I'm sorry to make you wait but I mentioned that in my vb2.x version of webtemplates when I released it so I'm not that guilty.. ^^

Alright, thanks for the reply.

I can completely understand where you are coming from. I'll be waiting patiently untill it is released.

Thanks,
