The templates were easy peasy for the most part. I'm still waiting for an official port by futureal though.

I can survive :D Just hope it is as good as the old version. Which was pretty good I might add.

All the features of the old version will be there, with more to come; I held off on doing a lot of stuff for the vB2 version since it seemed most would be moving to vB3 as soon as it hit the market.

I know many people have been waiting for updates to the arcade, I'm sorry I've been so slow with it.

Yes, the games will be the same, and all previous games will work with the vB3 version. In fact, right now, the arcade is basically the same.

However, to add Mozilla/Netscape/Mac support, the games will need to be re-modified. I've tried everything I can to add Moz support without re-modifying them, but it just doesn't work the way we originally did it. The fix is within the ActionScript that Flash uses to pass data back and forth between the Flash games and the PHP/HTML pages.

Hi guys,

I got ahold of vB3 RC1 last night and I'm in the packaging stage for the hack. I'd like to get the Mozilla support done but it seems like everybody would like to have a hack out sooner rather than later, so maybe I'll have to hold on that. Unfortunately I am leaving in about 10 minutes for a three-day trip. I should be able to get it finished as soon as I get back.

In vB2 news, the Beta 2.1 will be released simulataneously, and I will continue to maintain both versions of the hack (vB2 and vB3) for as long as interest remains in vB2.

Thanks for the support, guys. Still traveling right now, dialing in from my cell phone.

Once I am 100% sure that the game code I am using works with all the latest browsers (or as many as possible) I will post it, for sure. It is really not too different, in fact I fault myself for not doing this the first time around. I thought it was impossible at the time but I was wrong.

The status of the vB3 version so far is:

- arcade works great
- champions (postbit) system is NOT there yet
- scores editor is NOT there yet (I had not finished it for vB2)
- mozilla support is what I am currently working on

Quick update:

I am working on the hack whenever I have the chance, and I am honestly pretty happy with how this is fitting into vB3. Now that I have taken the time to actually try and integrate it, a lot of the code is smoother and really just that much cooler.

After further study, I've taken the plunge and begun to implement phrases for everything that is hardcoded into the Admin CP. I will deal with phrases in the templates at some later date (most likely -- I want to get this released).

I also spent the evening playing around with the bitfield permission model in vB3, and this is going to make it much easier to configure things like which admins can edit stuff in the arcade, which users can use the arcade, and whether or not the champions stuff is displayed.

I am hoping to post screenshots tomorrow or Monday.

side note for vb2.1 the version I have I tried to wipe my scores and it didn't work. Not sure if you knew that was a bug for that version or not. Any suggestions for wiping the cores from phpmyadmin?
