View Full Version : vBulletin/Photopost Templates Installed: Way to have Large Image Popup w/o Header?

I have AJR's Photopost Templates hack installed and was curious about this -- maybe it'd make the process a little easier having this hack going. I just ain't sure how to setup my brain to get over the hurdle.

I want the largest image that Photopost outputs [after the midthumbnail] to pop up into a clean window -- no header, no footer, nothing. Just a simple popup. Okay, sure, it can display Photopost's copyright at the bottom :), but I'm really curious on how to get this since Photopost outputs vBulletin's header through it's own files rather than the $keyword in the templates.

I posted about this over at PhotoPostDev and had one response from another person that seemed pretty interested, but nothing from anyone else. Thought I'd post about it here to maybe spread word on it.

Somewhere in pp settings theres a place to use no header.. I can't really remember but I will look it up as I use that myself.. when viewing the large image, there ain't no header.. as for the hack you speak of.. I have no yet installed it as I am thinking to move to 4images I think :)

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but wow, that's an Excite Virtual Places avatar. You wouldn't happen to be from there would you? :)

I'll look for that too, though I don't remember one being there at first glance. Thanks for the reply. :)

To those of you as curious as I was, the solution can now be found here:

I feel like a moron now.

Anyway, Mer, it's nice to see a fellow VPer. ;) I, myself, have moved on to Voodoo and help maintain the anime chat server there. It's all good. ;)
