Anti cheat site, any suggestions?

Well.....

Since I´ve had a VB license for quite some time now, and actually never really used it for anything, I was thinking that I wanted to use it for a anti cheat site, since I´m heavely engaged in Ghost Recon, and in several anti cheat groups...

But ehmm...

What´s the "standard" to use these days? I guess my site should include some sort of portal software, but which is best, and what hacks would be cool to install? Oh, and should I use V3, instead of V2 ?

Portals are sometimes nice but not always nessasary. You may wish to install a couple of small hacks from here but some of the big ones wont be needed, such as the store hack and Arcade, its really a matter of choice, you may search and find something you like.

If you use vB2 then you have this site and www.vbulletintemplates.com (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com) to use for extras and add ons whereas with vB3 because it is still in GAMMA, you will only find hacks on www.vbulletin.nl (http://www.vbulletin.nl) and some template modifications at www.vbulletintemplates.com (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com) . If your not in that much of a rush to start the site you could either wait for RC1 which will be the first stable release of vB3 and then hacks for it will be allowed here on vb.org

The site must be in progress somewhere in january and semi functional, but if has to have a portal or not, I really dunno...

The site will contain a list of cheaternames and IP adresses, toghether with a replayfile, and besides that, I think a "standard" forum would be sufficient, since the rest of the contents will be related discussions, tips etc etc, so I guess a portal wouldn´t be a must...

So basicly I could do it with V3, eventhough it´s in gamma, so I don´t have to make too many changes when V3 comes out as final?

Yes aparantly the code changes between GAMMA and RC1 will be small as they are mainly bugs beeing fixed.

If you want any hacks for vB3 check out www.vbulletin.nl (http://www.vbulletin.nl) and you must make more than 2 posts, then wait a hour before you can download anything.

Note that once RC1 is out vB3 hacks will be allowed here.
