The Tag Board Hack

Hi,

Ok this is the 3rd hack I've installed so I'm sorry if this is a simple question, but I'm stuck

I'm installing the 'Tag Board' hack https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=51705

And in the instructions the final thing I need to do is :

create the 9 templates included in the zip (the htm files)


What does this mean actually, stick them in the server somewhere or create them in Admin on the forum ?


Please help, it's only simple if you know the answer sorry !

It means you have to log into your boards admin cp. Go to the very bottom left corner where the header TEMPLATES is, and click ADD.

Then you simply have to create the templates for every one in the zip you have (9).

Call the template by the name of the template file. So if one of them 9 files is called vbulletin_options call the template vbulletin_options.

Make sure you add the templates to all of your styles though.

OK so I know how to do that, create 9 new templates in Admin, I understand the name part , but what about what goes in each template.

In the downloaded files from the hack, the 9 templates have code and design in the files, do I select all and then copy and paste into the new template in Admin's create template ?

My Bad : Just figured I should not be opening the downloaded Template files in Explorer but opening with Notepad, now it all makes sense.

I dont run anysite at the moment, too hard making a unique style so i dont bother :)
Instead i end up helping other people with their sites, no idea why :)

I've got a problem,

Visually it all looks good, and even worked on a few page, but I've just come accross this error message when trying to post a message on someone's profile :

You have an error in your SQL syntax near 's your head this morning ? ','4354','3')' at line 1
