yep, yet another ff related forum :-p home of triple triad, id like to know what people who actually understand php have to say about it. note we just flushed the boards after a year (we had 450000 posts) and the banner at the toP (along with the popups it creates) goes away when you register to the forums ^_^ so id rather not have a lot of criticism towards that ~_~ Click my banner in my sig, or the link is http://forums.ffgon.com/

wow..... awsome design on the hybrid style.... looks very sexy.... I guess I'll have to wait to try out the triple triad mod you got on your boards *is actually going to post there*(is oricon)
Wonderful site lots of active members. I just hope it doesn't go under like the last few FF related boards with huge numbers I have been a member of.

I love the site it looks GORGEOUS!!
But maybe fit the online user parts and shoutbox onto the side panel aswell somehow? It just looks out of place WAY at the bottom and makes things look awkward.
Looks like hard works gone into it though. Nice one

:D Triple Triad is completely up and running on the ffgon forums you know, and im even offering it for sale, but feel free to join it and play, if you pm me that your from here, ill give you the free tour of the hack :-p but knowledge of the gae from ff8 is very helpful

mmm imo style is abit cramped ... at least the home page and Page generated in 0.950 seconds (25.22% PHP - 74.78% MySQL) with 64 queries. weeee thats aloota queries :\
i also want to note that ALOT of the images dont appear to users who are logged out (postbit mostly)
however i do like the graphics and overall design :)

Yeah, people you should definately check the place out, if not just to witness DW's uber'coding skills, you should enjoy the forums themselves.
PS: You should all buy TT from DW, he is a sexay man indeed.

:D yeah, the home page is ungodly covered in queries, but our server doesnt really care, they give us tons of free stuff as it is. however it used to be 128 at one point, and then it was recently 89, so 68 is much better, and loads in 6 seconds as opposed to 30 ^_^ i still wonder what causes it though, as ive optimized as much as i could, and from my count there should only be like 40 queries....
as for the pictures missing O.o i could have sworn i fixed them all the other day *shrugs* oh well, an admins work is never done, thats why the usergroup 'admin' even exists right?

eh, the popups are ugly and annoying >.> youd be better off with google adsense or sumthing :)

um, i said i didnt want to hear anything about the popups or the ads :-p why? because when you ARE LOGGED INTO FFGON (aka, registered) the popups go away, along with the ad at the top. Just dont tell our server, the ad is required and as far as i know, they dont know i removed it for registered members :-p
....*cringes* FERAN followed me here? great, and are you the only one who doesnt like Hybrid?

I admit that FFGON was the main reason I purchased a license so I'm sure Jelsoft <3's you.
FFGON is an excellent site, though its administration had a hibernation period while TT was being developed.

actually, theyve been quite lax with the enforcing of it :-p they just handed it to us and said to put it up, weve yet to hear anything about it since ^_^ and it even took us like 3 months to put it up after they gave it to us, we didnt hear a thing :p

No. And they get unlimited bandwidth and server space, hosted at ffextreme.

actually, for us there really is. we blow through our bandwidth at 10 days into the month. it sits in the red for the rest of the time and our server doesnt even care ;-p and we arent hosted by ffextreme, we moved out from under them when thier server recognized us for having such amazing traffic :-p we have some limits, but when we break them they dont mind, lol
and yes! thanks to everyone who has had good things to say about ffgon ^_^ its appreciated, if only the members would :-p
