Add a new column on home page [like moderators] for ad buttons

Hello,
I would like to add a new column to my forum home page to palce button adds in.
I would like it to be like the moderators column.
I have to be able to edit each one seperate though as they will all have different images in each.
I know how to add them to a forum description using HTML but someone suggested using a new column and I think that will look a lot better.

Is there any way to do it to add a column like there is for moderator at the minute?
My site is www.Hosting-Talk.net if your not sure what I mean.
I think that hack does it for each category and i dont think it does the column like the moderator one is.
Says to refer to sitepoint for a demo and I know that works different.
