Hi all, I have a mix of 2 hacks that is so close to working correctly but cant figure out what the problem is.

I have the "Attached Image will be smaller" hack (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/show...2091#post442091) installed and wanted to add the "vb3 Attachments - Including Multiple Attachments Option" hack (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=52294&page=1&pp=15&highlight=vb3+images)
.

I would like to get both to work together however, the problem is both want to modify the same bit of coding in the postbit_attachment template. I can get both to work as they should but when I start trying to put them together, the closest I can get is to a point where it still thumbnails the pictures, lets me do the multiple image attachments, but all the thumbnails are of the first picture and all the links (as well as a signature) for the larger picture all point back to the 1st picture in the post.

Here is the code I have mashed together so far that gets it closest to the above state:

*******
<p><smallfont>$post[username] has attached this image:<br>
<a href="attachment.php?=$session[sessionhash]&postid=$post[postid]" target="_blank">
<img src="attachment.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&attachmentid=$value[attachmentid]" border="0" alt="" width="150" vspace="8" hspace="4">
</smallfont></p>
*******

Any ideas on whats choaking this or even if they will play together?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Assassingod, thank you for replying. I apologize for not catching it sooner. I will try this tonight. Where would you think to put the end tag? Before the </p> or after the _blank>?

Thanks again,

Chris

Replace all of that with:

<p><smallfont>$post[username] has attached this image:<br />
<a href="attachment.php?=$session[sessionhash]&postid=$post[postid]" target="_blank">
<img src="attachment.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&attachmentid=$value[attachmentid]" border="0" alt="" width="150" vspace="8" hspace="4" />
</a>
</smallfont></p>

OK... sooooo close now.... :)

That new code you posted did the trick for correcting the one big continuous link and the "User attached this image" text is no longer links either.

The only remaining issue now that I can tell is that any pictures after the first one, still link back to the first picture.

Velocd... Sorry, I dont understand what you mean with the 2 code posts.
