I have some nagging problems in my forum, which I can't seem to fix, despite searching and searching in this forum for the answers.
Here is the URL to my board:

My main problem can be seen here:
http://www.idevgames.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5412
Any thread that has source code posted, screws up the table holding the post. The two solutions I have thought about to this problem are:
1. Get rid of the quote-style and simple place the source code inside a table with a max width size.
2. Use a form, and have the source code appear in the form.
I noticed that this board does #2. I can't seem to find the template MOD to use forms. Links? Forms sound like a solution, but perhaps visitors may not like needing to scroll through the form, where as now, they can easily look at the source code -- though it looks ugly with its extra wide width.
Second problem I have can be seen in the postbit section. I have a darker grey area with the postbit info. This is just a table set to a fixed width. One problem I have is if a user has info in one of his postbit fields WITHOUT spaces, then that dark grey area will rezie to fit the text.
For example, in the postbit field, suppose for "Mac" they had this model....
PowerMacG4/1G,1GBRAM,100GBHD
Because the above has no spaces, it will stretch out the box. What I am doing is editing each user's postbit field by hand to make sure it has spaces. Any better solution? I can post my postbit info to make it easier.
Thank you for any help.
(My first post, so if I placed it in the wrong message board, please go ahead and move it)
Cheers
