what is your target audience?

don't like the way you set out the forums with the box for threads/posts

and to much white space on the index, maybe stick some dummy content in so i can get a proper feel

I think it looks pretty good.

Who is your target audience? Just looking at your main page, it's confusing to see what your site is actually based on.

My target audience is basically anyone who wants no BS free services. the mainpage will eventually become a PORTAL with news and stuff, but that is NOT the main focus at the moment.

I agree with LORD DEXTER ... the site as a whole is a little confusing. I'm sure you will change it.;)

Anyway, I like that you are trying to change the layout ... something that is non-existences in the vb world. However, I think that the post/thread count shoud be next to the category title; and, replace the current post/thread count area with LAST POST. After that, you can add a right column to the layout. Thus, giving your more space to add links, advertisements, or whatever.

I am actually thinking of changing the design to be more flexible, instead of soo compact and FIXED.

The name, unfortunately, is tacky. When I see "ur" in any sentence, I almost automatically think illiteracy from some individual.

In this case I know it's just an abbreviation, since "yourstuff" was undoubtedly taken.

Somehow this site just doesn't seem like one that would use a forum system. Forum systems attract people seeking a community, but the name of the site implies more like one of those cheapy service sites that offers tons of crap ads, etc.

The design isn't bad, although too common amongst forums today.

I am thinking of changing the design to a more expanded design...one that will get the point of WHAT the site is when they visit the first time.
