Anyone have any tips to maybe clean up and make a forum that people want to come back to more?

Upgrading to vB3 will keep all your members, threads and posts, however you'll lose any hacks and template modifications.

You won't lose colors, though, just template changes. In your case that only looks like the header.

There doesn't seem to be any modifications to the forum using files/templates anyway. So you won't loose anything. :)

if you want people to come back I suggest changing the colors ... the current colors are not inviting

What do you mean? What kind of colors should I go with then?
