I have used vbHome for as long as our site has been around (over a year and several months) and with the anticipated release of vb3 RC1, I'm very nervous in terms of losing vbHome as I heard it will not be ported over to vb3.

If this indeed is the case, will there be a portal for vb3 that functions similar to vbHome? Your input and feedback is really appreciated.

Yeah, I'm making a very modular system that can be used for a Portal.

Some others are making / have made portals too...

vBindex has been ported to vB3, take a look at Core Forums (http://www.coreforums.net) for a demo :)

An alternative to vBindex is aPortal, which can been seen at vBulletinTemplates.com within the next month:)
