Hi.. i'd like to have just one more feature on my vbhome hp articles..
in the articlebit (base) i have a $avatar that recall the avatar of the user who post the article..
well i think that it'll be nice if i may upload a different image for every article.. so i've tryied to manage it recalling an attachmentimage instead of the avatar.
i think this method requires to change forum setting to display attached images.. and i did it.
My trouble is strictly in the code to recall attach.
I've talked about this with a friends who run a vbhome site.. he solved this having a different forum for each "news catergory"... i.e. linux news have a linux forum news... sport news have a sport news forum.. and so on.. for each forum, vbHome articles display a different avatar.
This is a good way, but not really the way i want.
I may want an article showing a F1 images and one with a NFL one.. ora NBA.. or MotoGP.. or Baseball.. etc...i can't (and don't want :p) to have a forum for each news...
I've tryied to use some existing code to recall attachments images instead of $avatar but i can't work it out (i'm really newbye in php/mysql)...can anyone help?
