Check out the new site I've been working on for the last couple of days, Trail Depot. It's a site about hiking and backpacking.

I've tried to intergrate several other scripts into the site so everything has the same look and feel, as well as a single login. The other scripts I've used are:

Censura: for the product reviews
PhotoPost: for the gallery
HamWeather: for the weather pages

Other scripts I will be adding to the site:

In-Link: for the link database
HiveMail: for user email

The new theme for the forum is almost finished. I just need to make a new button set and check to make sure there are no errors in it. I'm just starting on creating new themes for the other scripts.

Let me know what you think.

fixed, but still... not the best design if you ask me. it looks good, but you should probably adjust it for 800x600, i'm running at 1024x768, and it's still way too big.

What's too big. I run 800x600 and it looks ok to me. There is still a lot of work to be done before I start promoting it, but I thought it was off to a pretty good start.

The audiance for a site like this is more interested in content as most of the members will be older so I'm trying to keep the design pretty simple yet different enough to set it apart from other hiking communities.

Everything fits inside 800 X 600 for me.

It looks nice, I like the menus.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've been swamped at work this week and haven't had time to work out all the bugs yet, but the weekends comming and I can feel an all nighter comming on. :smoke:

Also, if anyone here likes to hike, feel free to take a look at my site. I'm in the planning and training stage for a 160 mile hike of the Ozarks Highland Trail early next year. I'll be posting more about the trip this weekend. Just think, hiking for two weeks in the middle of nowhere by yourself. :nervous:
