ok heres the deal.

i have some files that are stored in a directory on my webserver. i only want a certain group of vbulletin members to be able to access these files. how can i do this?

these files are much too large for the database.

There is a hack for vB2 which puts htaccess on certain directories on your site. Its also customizable for usergroups
