I notice this website has a search box on each page and also a search box so you can search each thread as well. I am wondering how this is done? Is there a hack for this or anything? If not how do I go about doing it?

Thanks
Chris

I wanted this too but all I can find is a quick search box which doesnt exactly look like the one here at vb.org :ermm:

Just wanted exactly like the "search for..." box at the top :ermm:

You can just use code from search.php

It's pretty simple

Erwin did the search this thread hack for vB2.

Can you elaborate on what code I need to take from search.php? Do I take all of it? Then where to I paste the code? Into global.php? I dont get it :ermm:

LOL! I misread his post, thought he wanted a search in the header :cheeky:

Kristina;
Search @ vBulletinTemplates.com, filburt1 released something, but what you can do it just add the code into the header

I know I looked into it but it was way too complex for what I want.... I just wanted the searchbox part to be there. I cant seem to figure out just the part of the code for the searchbox. Sorry that I'm really stupid :ermm:

I wanna cry now :cry:

Take a look at the templates for both vBindex and vbHome (lite), they both contain the HTML code of a vB2 search box, all you need to do is make it fit in with your header :)
