Solution to a problem

this has been bugging me and i aint got a clue what to do to even remotely solve it.

Cookie timeout in admin cp 900 secs

now when i leave board and go back all threads i read before i shut down board etc are still green as if i aint read em.
The only way im guranteed to get a list of all new posts is by marking posts as read just before i leave.

Now i aint sure wot hack may of caused this or even if it was a hack so im hoping someone can point me in the right direction of a solution as it seems my session aint ending when i leave.

I believe you have to be online at your forums for the cookie timeout to work. Not sure though

yep but when i leave the board and go back lets say 2hrs later the same threads i read are still highlighted

Yeah, its because you havent been on your board for 900+ seconds. Just mark them read or wait a long time.

but i never had this prob before is just lately

Ok will give u an example
if i leave vbull board now and come back lets say in an hour i will only see new posts that have been posted since i left but on my board im seeing the ones ive already read as well and this can be lets say 6hrs later

Somehow its now endin sessions for me so i have no option but to press mark

I know what you mean. It happens at other boards. If you dont stay long enough on the board for the timeout to exceed, it wont mark threads read
