admin drop down box

someone must be able to make this (not me though :) )

i have certain posts that i insert certain gifs into,so i have pics on ftp and call it in using the image code but would like a drop down box that appears for admins or mods only and has the certain pics i want in it and inserts em into the post like it would with a normal img command.

crapy request i know but its what i need

i can understand this, could be done through smilies... and code it saying if smilie id = .... then show for usergroup.. blah.

This can be easy, but are the images static? or dynamic?

pics im calling in are all static (they in img folder on server) is 10 altogehter than i use (small gifs size of 20x20)
