I got this error right after I have edited admin/functions.php as directed in this hack. (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56589&perpage=15&pagenumber=3)

It is most likely you applied the changes incorrectly. I'd reccomend going back and trying them again :)
