Is there a way to allow downloads ... but only for members of a usergroup that can see a specific forum? (the downloads forum)

When you say downloads, do you mean downloading attachments?

No, I mean maybe a hack or something that redirects to the download file, but before redirecting, it checks the user's member group. Sort of like click.php but with user group authentication making sure they can see the forum (I am using your posts/day to see forum hack and want only people with a certain posts/day to be able to be redirected to the download) ...

If you like to use webtemplates (or similiar hacks) and make your download page a webtemplate, it will help.

I'm looking for something similar. I have a list of files that anyone can see but only a certain usergroup can download. I have searched for this too but no luck
