What's these 2 templates for!?

in the Forum Home templates, there are 4 templates called:

1- forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost
2- forumhome_forumbit_level1_post
3- forumhome_forumbit_level2_nopost
4- forumhome_forumbit_level2_post

just No. 1 and 4 is useful for changing in the Index
but 2 and 3 I don't know what's it for?

anybody know?

nopost means the forum is a category, post means it's open for new posts.

in a normaly vb setup 2 and 3 aren't used but you can have a forumstructure to use them :)
