I was just wondering is there a hack where everytime someone posts in your forum you can be notified by email?

There's a section in the forum settings where you can put an email address to notify anytime there's a new post in that forum.
I'm not sure if there is such a hack. But it would not be that hard to write one. ;)
BTW, if you have heavy traffic in your forums, this hack will drive you insane with all the Email flood. :D

I don't have much traffic on my forum yet. I am looking for something that when someone posts a message on my forum I would receive and email with that message. Would someone be able to write this hack for me. I would really apperciate it.

As I said earlier you do not need a hack for this. Just add your email address to the 'Emails addresses to notify when there is a new post' box in the forums settings.
And you can include the text of the message by adding this to the email_moderator template:
$message

Do it matter where i place the $message in the email mod temp? Doing this will I receive an email each time someone posts on my forum with what the wrote? That is what I am looking for. Thanks

I don't see where that option is unless I am blind.
