I never remember it. If I am at work or at another computer, all I do is email the "Forgotten password" link in the Member's Area, check my email, and then log on using the emailed information. :)

I just keep mine in email. Those logins are to big for me to try to remember for something so rarly used.

Chris M

@insanctus - Not a good idea - Print the email out or download the message, but do not keep it in your mail - If someone got into it they could do real damage;)

I used to get IE to save it, but I got control of more then one customer number/pass for my different forums. IE only keeps one, so I need to go searching to find the other.

I now keep all my passwords in a "password keeper" program which encrypts all passwords. I put that on my Sony MicroValut (http://www.sony.com.au/product_detail_content.asp?CCod=21366&CCod2=21367&ProdCod=USM128U2) and carry it around my neck at all times with all my other passwords ;)

Chris M

@S.Shady - How?:confused:

I have to access 3 different accounts using 3 customer numbers and passwords, and IE will only save 1...

Therefore, I downloaded Netscape Navigator, put one in that, then use my Laptop for the third Licence:)

Nah;)

The DarkBlazes Licence was bought in July last year, and my second Owned licence was bought in October or November (cant remember), but I think because my mum paid for the first, and my dad paid for the second, they thought it was different customers;)

It doesn't exactly bother me:p

IE saves my vBulletin.com license information, so whenever I visit the member area the info is already there. I have IE remember the passwords for .htaccess protection areas of my server as well. Too bad that IE method doesn't work the same with forum logins though. There are some forums I visit, such as Sitepoint, that seem to log me out quite often, even if I never cleared my cookies. And being that I'm a very lazy person, I had Sitepoint retrieve create a randomize password for me, cause I had forgotten it. Every time I am logged out though, I have to go back to my email, get the password, and then go to the forum and log in. I really should just create a new password. :p

You hardly ever use them, so there's no need to commit them to memory. Unless you have a cool one like H4X0r3L173!

EDIT: Oops, didn't realize it was an old thread, it was at the top. :(
